Fred Blair, MS, L.Ac.
Fred Blair, M.S., L.Ac. is a graduate of Columbia College. He holds an M.S. of Acupuncture from TSCA, one of the oldest acupuncture schools in the United States.
A long-time alternative medicine activist, he is on the Scientific Advisory Board of FIAR (Foundation for Integrative AIDS Research). He is also a recipient of a capacity development grant from NCCAM, the National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, awarded to develop the ability in clinicians in a non-pharmaceutical medical system to research their methods.
Fred’s post-graduate study includes classical acupuncture in the style of Jeffrey Yuen, advanced pulse diagnosis (Leon Hammer School and Martha Lucas), scalp acupuncture, and Japanese Meridian acupuncture.
He specializes in chronic and difficult-to-treat diseases, the interface between Chinese and Western Medicine, and the integration of the two systems to achieve optimal results. Fred is co-founder of 1Tribe Herbs, which focuses on chronic disease and diseases which are inadequately addressed by Western Medicine.
Kevin J. Pinzone, MSOM, L.Ac.
Kevin completed his Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture where he trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese Style and Acupuncture Physical Medicine. He interned for a year at the Tri-state College of Acupuncture Clinic on the Kiiko Matsumoto Clinic Team
He continued his studies with Daoist Acupuncture Master, Dr. Jeffrey Yuen and Dr. Tung's Dao Ma.
The integration of these styles of acupuncture and modalities such as Cupping, Moxabustion, Gua Sha and Chinese Herbology, allow him to present the best possible outcome to his patients.
Zero Balancing and Tui-Na are also incorporated to further harmonize each patient’s internal-external balance.
Kevin has a daily Zen meditation practice. This training paired with his strong desire to help others shape his practice.
